Thursday the 28th

There has been some talk about March holidays Para Para events, I'll try to see what I can conjure up with...

I've been trying to organise a Para Para Bash in March to gather all fellow Paralists in Singapore to dance and enjoy, for March marks my 21st birthday, what other means could this be a great way of celebrating a birthday? For more information stay tuned!

For those who came earlier there was a feature of Maryssa from US under the downloads section but under request I have to remove it. Sorry for those who missed it! :)

Saturday the 9th

Today is quite emotion-gushing for me as I realised one fact. For many of the visitors who are Singaporeans, you might've known that Mr. Ong Teng Cheong, our former and first elected President, died at the age of 66 at 8:14pm yesterday night.

Though I am ashamed to say that I do not know a lot about Mr. Ong, but all I knew is that he was a great figure in the history of Singapore, without him Singapore would not be what it is now. He laid great influences to the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) as well as being the man to lay support for the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) instead of the bus service which costed only half as much. It's a fortune for us Singaporeans to have such a man of his calibre in our golden years and whether or not you are a Singaporean, may we have a minute of silence for such a great man who contributed to the society of Singapore and to overall well-being of the world. For more information about him, you may go to http://www.channelnewsasia.com/obituaries/ongtengcheong/ .

Friday the 8th

Just four days away from Lunar New Year! From here I wish all Chinese a Happy Lunar New Year and may the new year bring fortunes and happiness to you!

There hasn't been much updates, apart from adding one more link in the Links Section but I'm rushing my stuff so you people won't have to wait long to see more features from my site!

Just a reminder for you guys who have not watched much Para Para action for some time in Singapore, River Ang Bao will have a Para Para performance done by some 18 fine Paralists from Channel U and their first day will be today 8pm at Marina Promenade (known unanimously as River Ang Bao) - and this is a flashback hahaha~ ...the rest of the days will be on 10th which is their rehearsal and I am not sure of their practice time and on 11th, Lunar New Year Eve at around 9pm or 10pm. If I have any new updates I will keep you guys ready! :)

Monday the 4th

Today is the second operational day of the newly revamped website, and I thank all of you for visiting it. From what I know, this site has been strangely down due to excessive bandwidth usage which I am unsure why.

As you can see, in an effort for me to bring to you guys the best in surfing experience for Para Para news and information, Tripod seemed to have been unable to follow on to my endeavours and as such I would like to appeal to you, the visitor of this website, to think about my appeal towards sponsorship. For more information about this, please follow this link to my discussion forum. To make a comment in the board, please make sure you are registered in it (it's free)!

Lastly, thank you for supporting my website!

Sunday the 3rd

As today sets in, all of you shall see this new outlook and interface of my website! Welcome once again to Para Para Dancing Dome, or what is formerly known as PaRaLuKe's Domain! Apart from seeing new technologies like Flash and subtle changes to pages (for those who know, I'm using SSI), this revamp brings in my new view towards the development of Singaporean Para Para.

Para Para has its roots in Singapore for over a year and progressively we've seen many Paralists appear from many walks of life, though mainly students are the ones trying out. Groups come and go, and many are still around serving the community, like EuroPura which have done a lot to shape the progress of Para Para in Singapore. I believe my site has brought lots of information and news to both Paralists and non-Paralists and I believe I can do more, though time and space is limited for me.

Till now I have not explained why I've changed the name apart from the fact it brought about "globalisation". This site started with my personal interest towards Para Para and it soon grown into a central information centre for Singapore Paralists and as such, this reorganisation is needed to recognise the potential development of Para Para in Singapore and it is here I realised that all these can't be done alone by myself. After months of development and pursuing of information, I found that all these can only be done if you people, the Paralists and non-Paralists, are willing to help me out, whether directly or not. I would like to seek a proposal as to form a dynamic team to manage this website which I believe with the hearts and minds of Singapore Paralists and young people alike, will strive to be a prominent star in the society.

As you take time to navigate around, do think about how certain things can be improved, and if you are willing to help out, how would you have done it? Anyway not all the areas are functional yet, so please give me some time to get all the things in proper order!

New features include a periodical update of downloads, a new discussion board similar to the one at Bemaniac and many others coming up soon. Make this site part of your favourites!

Sunday the 3rd

I've heard about news stating that Para Para Paradise 6 will only be out late March, I think it's on the 27th March 2002. Now we have a little more time to practice PPP 5 eh...or have you guys done it? :)

About the Lunar New Year Para Para Event held at River Ang Bao, I have details about the performing timings. As written, the days are on the 8th (8pm), 10th (rehearsal - not affirmed) and 11th ( 9pm or 10pm) February 2002.

Under the Downloads Section, there is a video clip featured by two Paralists located in the US! Go grab it!
