Now comes along the
bad news...what is it? Sad to say, after PPP7 there shall be no more
PPP series in production from Avex Trax...that is to say, the PPA will
be disbanded after that. When and why? Well I don't exactly know why
(probably they think Para Para is not really the "in-thing" and also
it does not bring them as much profits to them as before) but the
PPA's final performance shall be in commemoration of Super EuroBeat
130...what shall be the direction of Para Para then?
Strictly saying,
Para Para will continue in Japan in the famous clubs of velfarre and
TwinStar, but only probably in a smaller scale as before...however
whether we, the Paralists in Singapore, or the other Paralists in
other countries shall learn new dances and songs shall be another
matter, since it is purely up to the Japanese Paralists or any other
Paralists who go to Japan to help out to spread the moves.
What will happen
to the Para Para scene in Singapore then? Well my words are here: If
you love Para Para as a dance, a culture and something in you, there
is no way the flame in you will die off. Yes, people may treat Para
Para as a trend, but so long you love the dance, the music, the
passion...no one can extinguish the fervour in you.

Lastly, though I wouldn't of course compare myself with the PPA, is
that I'll be enlisting into National Service on 23rd August 2002.
You may ask "Who will be updating the website? Who will be giving
the news?" - don't worry, I'm currently attending to it. All I can
say, STILL WILL BE, dance to the EUROBEAT! Enjoy Para Para! :)
